Dr Raviteja KVNS, an assistant professor at SRM University AP, India, holds a doctorate in geotechnical engineering from IIT Hyderabad and was previously a SIRE Fellow at the University of Illinois Chicago. His research focuses on sustainable landfill system design, UAV-based landfill monitoring, and geotechnical engineering employing reliability and probabilistic frameworks. He is a member of ASCE, Indian Geotechnical Society, and the Institute of Engineers (India).
