Harvey Sawler has written more than a dozen books, including contemporary fiction, non-fiction, and historical fiction. Sawler is a skilled biographer as he showed in Frank McKenna: Beyond Politics. And he is well-versed in the rich Atlantic music scene, having written about the late Ron Hynes (One Man Grand Band: The Lyrical Life of Ron Hynes) and Dutch Mason, one of Canada’s best-known blues men.
