Cecilio Angulo received his BSc and MSc degrees in mathematics from the University of Barcelona, and PhD in sciences from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), Spain. He is the founder of the Research Centre on Intelligent Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (IDEAI-UPC) and is currently a full professor of artificial intelligence and robotics at UPC, and President of the Catalan Association for Artificial Intelligence (ACIA).
