Anthony A. Barrett est professeur émérite de l’Université de Colombie-Britannique et professeur invité à l’Université de Heildelberg. Il est l’auteur de plusieurs études, notamment Caligula: The Abuse of Power (Routledge, 2015) et Livia: First Lady of Imperial Rome (Yale, 2002). Il est également le coéditeur de l’ouvrage The Emperor Nero: A Guide to the Ancient Sources (Princeton, 2016).
