Dr. Hari Prasad Dasari is a professor of chemical engineering at the National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal. He obtained his Ph.D. from the Korea Institute of Science & Technology, South Korea. He served as a visiting scientist and STAR Postdoctoral Fellow at KIST, South Korea, and following this, he was a post-doc fellow at CALTECH, USA, and as DST-INPSIRE Faculty at the National Institute of Technology Warangal. He has been honored with the DST-INSPIRE Faculty Award, a fellow of the Institution of Engineers (India), a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry (London), and an associate fellow of the Telangana Academy of Sciences. His research interests are in the areas of Solid Oxide Fuel/Electrolysis Materials Development, Nanomaterials/Nanofibers/Thin-films synthesis, processing, characterization and its applications, Soot Oxidation studies, and Ceramic Membrane Development.
Dr. Chinta Sankar Rao is an assistant professor of chemical engineering at the National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal. He obtained his Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras after getting his M.Tech. degree from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. His research interests includes process dynamics and control, process modelling and simulation, system identification, process optimization, model-based control, model predictive control, crystallization systems engineering, and waste water treatment.
Dr. Vaishakh Nair is an assistant professor of chemical engineering at the National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal. He obtained his Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras. He served as postdoctoral fellow at Institute of Physical Chemistry Polish Academy of Sciences. His research interests are in the areas of Nanotechnology, Environmental Engineering, Catalysis, Biomass Conversion, Plant Growth Studies, Bioremediation.
