Takahisa Miyatake is a Professor at the Faculty of Environment, Life, Natural Science and Technology, Okayama University, Japan since 2000. His research interests include animal behavior, behavioral ecology, evolutional biology, ethology of insects, applied entomology and plant protection. He is on the editorial board of Population Ecology since 2009 and Ethology since 2010.
