Rajah Rasiah is Executive Director of the Asia-Europe Institute (Universiti Malaya) since 2022. He obtained his Ph.D. (economics) from Cambridge University in 1992 and was Rajawali Fellow at Harvard University in 2014. He was awarded the Celso Furtado Prize in 2015 for advancing the frontiers of social science (economics) thought by the World Academy of Sciences, the Merdeka Prize in 2017 for scholastic achievement, and the Distinguished Professorship in Economics in 2018.

Anter Venus is Associate Professor of strategic communication with specialization in sustainable communication at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Pembangunan National Veteran Jakarta. He is also Rector of the university. His latest research conducted with Trisia Megawati is entitled: identifying and addressing the right to burn by indigenous people. He has also led fire stewardship practices in South Sumatra in 2024.

Nur Annizah Ishak is Senior Lecturer at the Department of Political Science, Public Administration and Development Studies, Faculty of Business and Economics, Universiti Malaya. She holds a Ph.D. (economics) from University Malaya. Her research interests include development economics, sociology, poverty, and community development. She has published numerous articles in academic journals and books.
