Dr. Ajit Kumar Parwani is Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the Institute of Infrastructure Technology Research and Management (IITRAM), Ahmedabad, India. He has completed his Ph.D. at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi, India, in 2013. He has over 15 years of teaching and research experience. His research interests include heat transfer, inverse heat transfer, computational heat transfer, renewable energy, and IC engines. He has delivered several invited talk, keynote speeches, and conference presentations in reputed institutes. He has published 41 papers in international journals and conferences. He has also filed an Indian patent title “Simultaneous reduction of NOx and CO2 using exhaust gas recirculation and carbon capture”. He has conducted several workshops, short-term training programs, and seminars. He has completed two research projects on inverse heat transfer funded by SERB-DST, Government of India, and Institute of Plasma Research, Government of India.

Dr. Dileep Kumar Gupta earned his doctorate degree from BITS Pilani, M.Tech. from VNIT Nagpur, and B.Tech. from Government Engineering College, Jagdalpur. Presently, he is working as Associate Professor and Head of Department in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department at the Institute of Infrastructure, Technology, Research and Management (IITRAM). Before joining IITRAM, he served as faculty mechanical engineering department, BITS Pilani, for more than 7 years. He is Member of IMechE, ASHRAE, ISHRAE, and ISHMT. He holds the position of Refrigeration Chair for ASHRAE, Western India. His area of research is on the optimization of eco-friendly and energy-efficient refrigeration systems, such as CO2 refrigeration systems, evaporative cooling, cold chain, and indoor air quality climate change. He has published more than 30 papers in various reputed journals and international conferences in India and abroad.

Dr. Vipul M. Patel is Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, Surat, Gujarat. He obtained his B.E. (mechanical) from Sardar Patel University, Gujarat, and M.Tech. and Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. His research interests include radiation heat transfer in participating media, computational fluid dynamics, bio heat transfer, radiation therapy, transport phenomena in porous media, and battery thermal management. He has published 25 research articles in reputed international journals and conferences. He holds one utility patent and two design patents. He has successfully completed a research project of grant 35 Lakh and currently involved in a sponsored research project of 31.5 Lakh. He is Life Member of the Indian Society of Heat and Mass Transfer (ISHMT) and Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE).

Dr. Subhashis Ray is Professor and Head of Theory and Numerical Simulations Group, Institute of Thermal Engineering at Technische Universität, Bergakademie, Freiberg, Germany. He obtained his B.E. (mechanical) from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, M.E. from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, and Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. His major areas of research interests include computational fluid dynamics, simulation of reactive flows, turbulence modeling, thermodynamically consistent phase change method, multiphase flows, pulsating flows, flows, and phase change inside porous media including combustion. He has published 65 papers in respected international journals. He handled more than 20 research projects in direct and indirect capacities.
