Dr. Abd El-Hafeez Zohry is an emeritus professor in the Crops Intensification Research Department at the Field Crops Research Institute, Agricultural Research Center, Egypt. He earned his bachelors in general agriculture from El-Minia University, masters in agronomy from Al-Azhar University, and a PhD in crop physiology and production from Al-Azhar University. With 42 years of experience, he has published 47+ research papers, 2+ book chapters, 10+ books, and 4 extension bulletins on intensive cropping and crop rotations

Dr. Samiha Ouda is currently working as an emeritus professor in the Water Requirements and Field Irrigation Research Department at the Soils, Water, and Environment Research Institute, Agricultural Research Center, Egypt. She holds a bachelors in agricultural economy from Cairo University, a masters in agronomy from Ain Shams University, and a PhD in crop physiology and management from Iowa State University. With 37 years of experience, she has published 98+ research papers, 7+ book chapters, and 12+ books on irrigation water management, modeling, agroclimatology, and climate change.
