M. Naushad Alam is currently working as a professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Zakir Hussain College of Engineering & Technology, Aligarh Muslim University. He obtained his Ph.D. in 2006 from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. His major areas of interests include smart composite and sandwich structures, active control of structures, finite element analysis, reliability, availability and maintainability of structures and systems. He has published numerous papers in Composite Structures, International Journal of Mechanical Sciences, Computational Mechanics, ASME J. Vibration and Acoustics, ASCE J. Engineering Mechanics, J. Thermal Stress, Computer Methods in Applied Mechanics & Engineering, International Journal of Mechanics and Solids, Latin American Journal of Solids and Structures and Structural Engineering and Mechanics.

Arshad H. Khan joined as a faculty in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, AMU, in 2003 and is currently working as a Professor in the Department. He has obtained his Ph.D. Degree from IIT Delhi under QIP fellowship. His teaching interests are primarily in vibrations, composites, solid mechanics, machinery dynamics, machine design and finite element methods. His area of research includes computational mechanics, nonlinear dynamics, composites and impact mechanics. He has published various papers in international journals of repute which include, Composites-Part B, Composite structures, Non-Linear Dynamics, International Journal of Non-Linear Mechanics, Engineering Structures, Latin American Journal of Solid and Structure, etc. He has also presented many papers in international and national conferences.

Mohammad Talha is currently an associate professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Mandi. He obtained his Ph. D. from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur in Aerospace Engineering in the year 2012. His research interests include computational solid mechanics, composite structures, functionally graded materials, uncertainty quantification in aircraft analysis and design, imperfection sensitivity in composites, etc. He has published various papers in International Journal of Mechanics and Materials in Design, Extreme Mechanics Letters, Advanced Theory and Simulations, Mechanics of Materials, Thin-Walled Structures, etc. He has featured among top 2% scientists and researchers of the world consecutively for 2022 and 2023 in a joint exercise published by Stanford University and Elsevier. He is also a recipient of Recognition in Research Excellence (Teaching Faculty-National) at the IEI NMLC FCRIT Excellence Awards in 2023.
