Jeng-Shyang Pan received his B.S. in Electronic Engineering from National Taiwan University of Science and Technology in 1986, M.S. in Communication Engineering from National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan, in 1988, and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from University of Edinburgh, UK, in 1996. He is a Professor at College of Computer Science and Engineering, Shandong University of Science and Technology and Fujian University of Technology, and an Adjunct Professor at Flinders University, Australia. He joined the editorial board of the International Journal of Innovative Computing, Information and Control, LNCS Transactions on Data Hiding and Multimedia Security, Journal of Information Assurance and Security, Journal of Computers, International Journal of Digital Crime and Forensics, and the Chinese Journal of Electronics. His research interests include soft computing, information security, and big data mining. He has published more than 300 journal and 400 conference papers, 35 book chapters, and 22 books.
 
Jianpo Li is a Professor at School of Computer Science, Northeast Electric Power University, China. He completed his Ph.D. in Communication and Information System from Jilin University, Changchun, China, in 2008, and has more than 10 years’ teaching/research experience. He has published more than 25 papers in international journals and conferences and has 12 patents.
 
Pei-Wei Tsai received his Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering in Taiwan in 2012. He is a lecturer and the deputy course convenor for Master of Data Science at the Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering at Swinburne University of Technology in Australia. His research interests include swarm intelligence, optimization, big data analysis, wireless sensor network, and machine learning.
 
Lakhmi C. Jain, Ph.D., M.E., B.E. (Hons), Fellow (Engineers Australia), serves at Faculty of Education, Science, Technology & Mathematics at University of Canberra, Australia and Bournemouth University, UK. He founded KES International to provide the professional community with the opportunities for publication, knowledge exchange, cooperation, and teaming. Involving around 5,000 researchers drawn from universities and companies worldwide, KES facilitates international cooperation and generates synergy in teaching and research. His interests focus on artificial intelligence paradigms and applications in complex systems, security, e-education, e-healthcare, unmanned air vehicles, and intelligent agents.
